  • Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard
  • Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard
  • Mac OS X v10.7 Lion

To access a Web Disk using Mac OS X, follow these steps:

  1. From the Finder, click the Go menu, and then click Connect to Server.
  2. In the Server address text box, type one of the following URLs:
    • To connect to the Web Disk using an unencrypted (cleartext) connection, use the following URL:
      http://example.com:2077
Replace example.com with your web site's domain name. Copy the modified URL, and then paste it into the text box.
    • To connect to the Web Disk using an encrypted (SSL) connection, use the following URL:
      https://example.com:2078
Replace example.com with the domain name that your web site uses for SSL connections. Copy the modified URL, and then paste it into the text box.
If you are not sure which domain name your web site uses for SSL connections, please visit the A2 Hosting Client Area at http://my.a2hosting.com to view your account information. If you need further assistance, please open a support ticket with our Guru Crew on the Customer Portal at https://my.a2hosting.com.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Type the username and password for the Web Disk account.

To avoid retyping your username and password when you access the Web Disk, select the Remember this password in my keychain check box.
