Accessing your hosting control panel

This article discusses how to access the control panel for your hosting account. The control panel enables you to quickly and easily administer your account through a convenient web browser interface.

The control panel you use depends on the type of hosting account that you have.

Linux hosting accounts

Managed hosting accounts

For Linux-managed hosting accounts, you use cPanel to administer your site. For information about how to access the cPanel control panel, please see this article.

Managed hosting products include:

  • Shared hosting: Startup, Drive, Turbo Boost, and Turbo Max packages.
  • Reseller hosting: Kickstart, Launch, Grow, and Scale packages.
  • Managed VPS: Lift 4, Lift 8, Lift 16, Mach 8, Mach 16, and Mach 32 packages.
  • Managed Dedicated servers: Warp 1, Warp 2 Intel, Warp 2 AMD, Warp 2 Turbo Intel, Warp 2 Turbo AMD, Warp 3 AMD, and Warp 3 Turbo AMD packages.
Unmanaged VPS

For an unmanaged VPS (also known as a “semi-managed” VPS), you use the A2 Hosting Customer Portal to administer your server. For information about how to do this, please see this article.

Unmanaged VPS products include the Runaway 1, Runaway 2, Runaway 4, Supersonic 8, Supersonic 16, and Supersonic 32 packages. Older unmanaged VPS products used a different administration interface, SolusVM. For information about how to access the SolusVM control panel, please see this article.
